BOSTON- ON SUNDAY, December 14th the stars showed up and showed out at Hilton Boston Park Plaza in Back Bay for the 3rd installment of The Runway Ball, hosted and produced by the triumvirate of BostonMan Magazine’s Matt Ribaudo, Wave + Woven’s Amanda Vargus, and The 617 Event Group’s Jimmie Espo.

Featuring seven elite designers, and sixty stunning models from all over New England, Boston’s signature fashion and culture gala -once again- dazzled the 600+ guests in attendance while raising proceeds to benefit St. Jude Children’s Hospital of New England.

Before any models took to the ravishing sixty foot runway though, attendees first indulged in a swanky Dark Romance themed cocktail reception -plush with luxurious activations from many top brands across the region- while mingling and taking pics with the evening’s designers & models; local celebrities; professional athletes; socialites; and Boston tastemakers alike.

Among the highlights at the 2025 Runway Ball cocktail reception was the informative beauty station displayed by Dr. Anna Petropoulos’s team of the Center for Classic for Beauty, located in Boson’s Back Bay and Danvers.

Conveniently nestled next to the iHeart media station (Dr. Anna being no stranger to television and the microphone with her thousands of national media appearances!) attendees were able to converse with beauty experts on the Center for Classic Beauty team as well as take pics with Dr. Anna herself.

iHeart Radio and co-host of the Welloff Podcast Gina Simeone said: “Interviewing Dr. Anna at The Runway Ball was such a pleasure. I learned so much about anti-aging and various treatments and procedures that actually work in just the five minutes speaking with her! She truly is at the top of the class with everything she offers.”

Toast to St. Jude co-chairman Matt Milley added: “We’re thrilled to see Dr. Anna and The Center for Classic Beauty here at The Runway Ball. The financial support they are helping to provide to support St. Jude New England is greatly appreciated.”

BostonMan Magazine publisher and The Runway Ball co-producer, Matt Ribaudo, then made one of the evening’s big announcements highlighting his speech at the end of the cocktail reception:

“A lot of people, many of you that are here tonight, have been asking what type of skincare routine I practice, and what can a 40-year old man do to take care of his youthful glow?” Ribaudo said. “The woman responsible for it, is standing right in front of me, Dr. Anna Petropoulos. Botox is not just for women. The Center for Classic Beauty has a ‘Brotox’ program that I am part of where Dr. Anna and her team carefully take care of men to give them the cleanest and most refreshing appearance on the face, neck, and jawline. Dr. Anna and her entire team are absolutely incredible!”

By 8:15pm, as the 2025 Runway Ball cocktail reception neared its conclusion, guests clamored to squeeze in one last picture on the red carpet with Dr. Anna and other celebrities before settling into their seats for The Show. For attendees like Sarah Walz, who made the trip up from Philadelphia to attend Boston’s Runway Ball, only one thing remained to be answered: “What will the actual show do to top this incredible cocktail reception?!” she wondered.

It certainly is nice to have sponsors like Dr. Anna Petropulos and The Center for Classic Beauty  that help to set the stage and tone for a question like that.
