BOSTON, MA- Inertia Resources, one of the fastest-growing energy brokerage firms in the United States, is raising awareness and funds for local breast cancer survivors and their families with the inaugural Power in Pink charity reception, partnered with BostonMan Magazine to benefit the Miss Pink Organization.

The special fundraiser will take place on Monday, October 28, 2024, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Mémoire, the luxurious 8,000 square-foot nightlife destination located in Encore Boston Harbor, owned by the Big Night Entertainment Group, a frequent supporter of breast cancer awareness.

Power in Pink will benefit the Miss Pink Organization, an all-volunteer non-profit dedicated to supporting local breast cancer survivors and their families through programs that offer emotional, physical, and financial assistance. The organization provides vital support to women -and men- undergoing treatment, helping them focus on healing and spending time with their loved ones.

Attendees of the formal, black-and-pink-tie event will enjoy an evening of elegance, featuring music, dancing, and a live and silent auction. Light bites will be provided throughout the evening, and guests will have access to photo opportunities on the “pink carpet” and a cash bar.

Power in Pink is being curated by Demorian Linton, Principal Owner of Inertia Resources, in honor of his mother, Jana Linton, who passed away last year after a courageous battle with cancer.

“I wanted to do something special that would honor both my mother’s legacy and the brave women and their families who continue to battle this deadly disease every day,” Demorian said. “We’re really excited to share a heartfelt night of fun and hope with the Miss Pink and BostonMan Magazine communities.”

Demorian continued: “Inertia Resources is in the power business and our goal is to build a more powerful community for breast cancer warriors through the for testing, early detection, and available resources.”

About The Miss Pink Organization

The Miss Pink Organization supports breast cancer survivors and their families who have been diagnosed with and are undergoing treatment for breast cancer through programs that promote emotional, physical and financial assistance to allow patients time for healing and to be with their families.

Miss Pink Programs Include:

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Our mission is to relieve stress of the financial burden that can occur during cancer treatment. This can be due to leave of absence from work, lost income or fixed income. We offer support through meals, childcare, cleaning services, gas and grocery cards, and other special circumstances that can interrupt the effectiveness of treatment on a case by case basis.

HEALTH AND WELLNESS: We try to offer healthy meals provided to patients and their families during treatment. We also try to educate during lunch and learn sessions on health, wellness and nutrition and offer opportunities to get involved and active.

EDUCATION, SUPPORT AND INFORMATION: Medical professional and education event support and access to support groups and mentorship programs, lectures and confidential check in calls.
