ON MONDAY, July 22nd, BET ON A BETTER FUTURE Boston will host a dynamic fundraiser at Marseille in South Boston to benefit BUILD Boston.
This organization is dedicated to enriching students’ development supporting their professional growth, and providing valuable coaching for educators.

BUILD Boston’s mission is to equip students with the entrepreneurial mindset and skill set needed to thrive in college, their careers, and thought out their lives.

The evening will be filled with engaging activities and opportunities, featuring captivating performances by local talents, including soulful R&B artist Lisa Bello and vibrant country singer Louie Bello.

A variety of vendors will be on hand, contributing to a lively atmosphere and enhancing the overall experience.

Attendees can purchase original artwork from local artist Olivia Crozier, LINKED Studios will also present a unique pop-up trunk show, offering customized bracelet and necklace fittings, as well as a local gym outfitter, Incredible as You, offering her athletic wear for sale.

Guests will have ample opportunities to connect and network throughout the evening, furthering the event’s goal of fostering community and support.

Since its inception, BUILD Boston has made a significant impact, supporting 11,463 students, enlisting 877 mentors, creating 131 youth businesses, and training 33 teachers in the program.

BUILD connects business professionals with freshmen and sophomores to mentor and guide them in transforming their innovative ideas into actual products and businesses. The organization provides funding for students to create prototypes, which they then sell, keeping all the profits.

As a nonprofit focused on entrepreneurship, BUILD empowers students to become the CEOs of their own futures. The program is dedicated to ensuring that every student in Boston—regardless of race, socioeconomic background, or neighborhood—acquires the essential skills and networks needed to achieve economic independence and success.

Real estate agents Tabatha Roseman and Lisa Batista, are part of the team working to help raise funds to expand BUILD’s program and continue their program in Nine Boston public schools.

Amanda, who witnessed the program’s transformative effects while volunteering as a BUILD mentor during the pandemic, is passionate about furthering its reach.
