BOSTON- BostonMan Magazine publisher Matt Ribaudo recently announced plans to unveil a new official logo for the multi-media publication, set to debut in mid-October with the print edition’s 7-year anniversary souvenir release.

The current logo, Ribaudo said, will now become ‘a retro version’ with the BostonMan brand, which was originally designed and developed by USAMan and PhillyMan Magazine, an early inspiration and partner with BostonMan in 2018.

“There will always be fond memories and an identity with the original logo,” Ribaudo stated. “The team in Philadelphia knocked it out of the park in terms of creating a cool and fun brand image that has resonated with both men and women everywhere. We’re super excited for this next chapter and look forward to our ‘city edition logo’ representing the legacies of BostonMan Mag and the diverse communities of our historic city as well as the original has.”

The timing for a new logo makes sense, Ribaudo explained, because -although there were some early similarities conceptually- BostonMan and PhillyMan have grown independently as two different companies, operating separate of one another with differing audiences and business models.

In addition, Ribaudo announced the first ‘Power Duo’ concept for BostonMan Magazine, which will be showcased in the Fall 2025 7-year anniversary issue alongside the christening of the new ‘city-edition logo’ in October.

“The plan all along has been to eventually do something big for our anniversary magazines,” he said. “But I wanted it to be different from the ‘best ofs’ and hand-picked awards that dominate other publications in the city.”

Ribaudo said that he and editor-in-chief, Mike Fahey, construed the ‘Power Duo’ idea (not to be misinterpreted as ‘Power Couples’) because it is able to highlight and tell the stories of great things tandems are able to achieve in Boston together, as opposed to focusing solely on the achievements of an individual profile.

“That’s not to say that there won’t be any traditional couples or domestic partnerships featured,” Fahey clarified. “But by engaging with all types of power duos, we are able to also include business partners, teammates, family members, co-brands, and much more!”

The historic covers for BostonMan Magazine’s 7-year anniversary ‘Power Duo’ publication -with the ‘city edition’ logo prominently in place- will be revealed “end of September” at the mag’s next private networking event tentatively slated to be hosted at the stunning new POST 1917 Steakhouse in Lexington.

Ribaudo said he is still finalizing some logistics for BostonMan’s end-of-year event schedule, noting that it is taking shape and rounding out nicely.

“We’re going to do something big for the 7-year drop around Halloween,” he revealed. “We’ll also be co-hosting our annual ‘Power in Pink Gala’ with Intertia Resources to benefit the Miss Pink Organization and women battling breast cancer on October 22nd at The Liberty Hotel.”

For November, Ribaudo hinted at a curated art show featuring some of the biggest named artists in the industry to be held at Hotel Commonwealth, promising more details to come in the ensuing weeks.

All of this, of course, culminates on December 14th with the third season of BostonMan Magazine’s signature gala The Runway Ball -produced in unison with The 617 Event Group and Wave + Woven Style House- returning to Hilton Boston Park Plaza’s Grand Ballroom and proceeds once again benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital of New England.

“It’s going to be a big autumn for our community and publication,” Ribaudo said. “We can’t wait to share and experience all of it with the city!”
