ON THURSDAY November 2nd at Victory Point in Marina Bay, BostonMan Magazine publisher Matt Ribaudo revealed former Boston police chief, William G. Gross, as the first of his five covers for the publication’s upcoming 5-year anniversary edition, to be released on Sunday, December 3rd at Boston’s Runway Ball in Park Plaza.

Commissioner Gross, who served as the city’s top cop from 2018-2021 and its 42nd commissioner, said he is honored to be one of the cover selections for the special anniversary edition.

“One thing I can tell you about BostonMan Magazine and Matt Ribaudo, that is similar to myself,” Commissioner Gross said at the reveal. “Is that we love this city and there isn’t anything we wouldn’t do for it. We’re givers. We give back wherever and whenever we can.”

The cover, which was shot in the downstairs dining area of Victory Point – an establishment that has a waterside jazz lounge named after Commissioner Gross- was photographed by Micah Holder and designed by JD Consulting. The cover story is being written by award winning journalist Dave Wedge.
