COLE STRANGE is accustomed to standing his ground and holding down a line. As a current offensive lineman on the New England Patriots, that is, after all, his professional job.
On Monday, November 6, 2023 from 6:30 – 9:30 pm, Strange, a 6’5, 310 lb product of Tennessee -and the Patriots first round selection, (29th overall) in the 2022 NFL Draft- will be standing his ground in another way, as he hosts his inaugural fundraising gala, An Evening to Salute Veterans with Cole Strange inside Gillette Stadium’s West Putnam Club and Atrium.
Guests will have unprecedented access to Strange and his Patriots teammates during an open bar cocktail reception, viewing the exclusive silent auction items.
A multi-course dinner will follow, along with a Q&A panel discussion session with Strange, and a live auction program. Once-in-a-lifetime experiences and rare memorabilia will highlight the event’s silent and live auctions. To top it off, every attendee will go home with a Cole Strange signed Signature Series Patriots football.
The purpose of Strange’s An Evening to Salute Veterans is to raise funds for the community outreach programs of The Cole Strange Foundation.
“The foundation is for veterans,” Strange told Patriots.com journalist Alexandra Francisco. “Honoring military veterans and showing appreciation, but also focusing on people who have been injured in combat or are dealing with mental health challenges.”
Strange launched the foundation back in September with his kick-off event being a “Patriots at the Movies” themed evening where Strange, his board members, and teammates hosted roughly 60 military veterans for a screening of the film, Gran Turismo.
“The response from our first event has been incredible,” said Cole Strange Foundation board member, BostonMan Magazine Legacy Club member, and veteran Dennis Franczak. “We’re excited to continue to grow the foundation and offer our resources and platform however we can in support of veterans. It is wonderful what Cole is doing for this community.”
Net proceeds from An Evening to Salute Veterans with Cole Strange will fund grants for in-need military veterans to receive the care they need through the foundation’s partnerships with local veterans’ organizations.
