Dior, Boston's Runway Ball Announce Fashion Show Feature

ON MONDAY October 23rd, The Runway Ball of Boston announced that Dior Beauty will be a featured spotlight for their forthcoming December 3rd fashion show at Boston Park Plaza.

The collaboration, spearheaded by Dior Ambassador Michelle Romano, is a seamless fit, according to Runway Ball co-founder and BostonMan Magazine publisher Matt Ribaudo.

“Michelle has been a valuable member of our community for years,” he stated. “With the ‘Hollywood at Night’ theme we are embracing for this show and Michelle’s accolades in both acting and producing cinema, we knew we would be involving her talents in some capacity.”

Ribaudo continued: “Her intimate knowledge of fashion, beauty, theatre, and events truly make her a one of a kind asset, we’re thrilled to have her bring Dior to The Runway Ball.”

Final details of the collective collaboration have not been released, but sources say will likely include an activation center for attendees, gift bags for guests in the VIP Mezzanine, and showcased glam on the runway. Michelle, as well as other Dior ambassadors, will be on hand for photo ops and to answer any questions from guests.

“We’re super excited to be included in this show,” Michelle said. “This Runway Ball is something Boston has longed for. It’s an honor to have Dior and myself as part of it!”

Dior has a storied history of incorporating Hollywood into their campaigns. Actress Natalie Portman has been the face of Miss Dior since 2011.

Actor and musician Johnny Depp is the drive behind Dior’s new men’s fragrance, Sauvage, to be featured at The Runway Ball.

And actress Jennifer Lawrence, who recently ‘wowed’ the fashion world on the red carpet at Paris Fashion Week with her stylish open blouse and velvet floor length skirt paired with a coordinating belt and pointed toe shoes is the face of the fragrance Dior Joy, also to be prominently featured on December 3rd.
