BostonMan Magazine Editor-in-Chief, Mike Fahey

“Mike’s appointment marks an exciting evolution for BostonMan,” Ribaudo said. “His unique combination of newsroom leadership and PR expertise will help us tell Boston’s stories in more compelling ways. Having worked with Mike previously, I’ve seen firsthand his ability to identify and craft narratives that resonate with our community. He has a gift in identifying and telling the types of timeless stories that are the core of our magazine.”

During his 15-year career in television news, Fahey held key leadership positions at major stations including WHDH in Boston and WBFF in Baltimore. He directed coverage of pivotal events including the Boston Marathon bombing, the Coronavirus pandemic, and numerous championship runs by Boston sports teams. Most recently, as founder of Fahey Communications, he has managed PR and media campaigns for clients ranging from healthcare innovators to political candidates.

“BostonMan celebrates the unique spirit and stories that make our city extraordinary,” said Fahey. “I’m excited to build on the magazine’s strong foundation while bringing new perspectives to our coverage. Boston has always been more than just a city – it’s a community of innovators, leaders, and changemakers whose stories deserve to be told.”

In his new role, Fahey will oversee editorial direction and content strategy while working to expand the magazine’s digital presence and community engagement.

His appointment allows Ribaudo to relinquish some of the editorial responsibilities and to focus more intently on the continued philanthropic, special events, and professional/social networking experiences of the brand.

“Mike understands that great magazines are built on authentic storytelling,” added Ribaudo. “His vision for BostonMan aligns perfectly with our mission to showcase the best of Boston’s culture, business, and community.”

“What particularly excites me about this new role is the opportunity to share stories that truly matter to our community,” added Fahey. “BostonMan will continue to celebrate what makes Boston extraordinary. I look forward to engaging with our readers and being part of the next chapter in the magazine’s story.”
